Which tools actually show me NFL player props without an account?

Quick answer

On 12 September 2026, three showed a real NFL board logged out. BettingPros rendered 655 props across 11 markets over 19 pages with both prices per row. ScoresAndOdds carried more markets, 16, including first and last touchdown scorer, but puts its projections behind a paywall. PropsMadness unlocks one featured game per league with a few players priced. We build one as well, the Lab, and it is free: the full slate, every line with L5, L10, L20 and season hit rates, game logs and the best price at your books. The finding worth more than the ranking: on the largest free board, anytime touchdown carried 7 props against receiving yards at 182.

The twelve-tool test we ran in August was on a baseball slate, which means it said nothing about football. So we ran it again on a live NFL week 1 board, logged out, no account and no credit card, with Sunday’s games upcoming.

Here is what actually rendered.

What each one shows for football, logged out

Tool NFL board without an account Markets Where it stops
BettingPros 655 props across 19 pages, all 14 fixtures, both prices per row and a Pick on every row 11 Every advanced filter says upgrade to premium, and the Bet Rating renders as 0 of 5 stars on every row
ScoresAndOdds The board with best odds across books and an Odds Compare expander per row 16 The projection and difference columns carry a premium icon. Odds free, projections paid.
PropsMadness One featured game per league: on our check, three players priced in Commanders at Eagles, sixteen others locked not counted Everything outside the featured game says UNLOCK. $25/mo, or $20.83/mo billed yearly.
Steezanomics Lab The NFL board with the best price on each side offered and the player’s hit rates on every row, and each book’s price on the player page Prices are refreshed through the day, not live. Football coverage is new.

Our own row describes the Lab as of 2 October 2026. The other rows are as tested.

One mechanical note if you repeat this on BettingPros: the page lazy-loads. A cold visit shows an empty search box and a nav bar and looks walled. Scroll and the board appears. Same trap as their baseball page.

The finding: the biggest market is the thinnest

Anytime touchdown is the most bet prop in American football by a distance. On the largest free board we opened, here is what the market counts looked like:

Market Props
Receiving Yards 182
Receptions 179
Rushing Yards 73
Rush Attempts 69
Pass Yards 28
Pass Touchdowns 28
Interceptions 28
Pass Attempts 22
Pass Completions 22
Rush + Rec Yards 17
Anytime Touchdown 7

Seven, against 182 for receiving yards, across fourteen games.

There is a mechanical reason and it is worth understanding rather than treating as a slight. Anytime touchdown is a one-sided market: there is no under, so the two-sided structure most prop screens are built around does not apply, and tools that key on over/under pairs carry it awkwardly or not at all. It is also priced later than yardage markets at a lot of books.

The practical consequence is the same either way. The market you most want to research is the one these tools support worst, and if you are betting touchdown scorers you are largely on your own with the raw board.

What we would check instead, and where each number comes from, is in what to check before betting an anytime touchdown prop. Our own board carries the market: each anytime touchdown line with the best price posted, and on the player page the red zone touches or targets behind it and what the opposing defence allows.

Breadth and depth are split between two free tools

The other thing this check turned up is that the two usable free football tools are not substitutes for each other.

ScoresAndOdds carries more markets: 16 to BettingPros’ 11. Its filter includes passing, rushing and receiving yards, receptions, touchdowns, completions, interceptions, pass and rush attempts, the two combination yardage markets, first and last touchdown scorer, and three longest-play markets. Best odds across books on every row.

BettingPros carries more rows and shows its pick. 655 props with a Pick of Over or Under visible logged out, which is unusual: the equivalent conclusion is paid at most tools. Its Bet Rating, though, renders as zero stars on every row without an account, so the confidence attached to that pick is not actually free.

If you only open one, open the one that matches what you want: the market you are betting, or the row count.

What to be careful about with any football count, including ours

Football is one slate a week. A baseball tool is measured against fifteen games a night, seven nights a week. A football tool posts a board and holds it. Comparing a football market count against a baseball market count tells you about the sport, not the tool.

Timing matters more in football than people expect. We ran this check with Sunday’s games upcoming, deliberately. A board counted midweek, or counted after the games have gone, is a different board. We have measured this directly elsewhere: the same fixture at one book carried 81 markets at 1am and 110 markets at 9pm the same day. If you are auditing a tool, do it when the market is live.

About our own entry

We build one of these. Our football board went live on 7 September 2026. On 12 September, when we ran this check, it covered fewer markets than either free tool above. We ran the check again on the week 4 board on the night of 1 October 2026. On the 15 games still to play, our board carried 1,535 props in 14 markets, BettingPros 722 in 11 and ScoresAndOdds 2,535 in 18. On the nine markets all three carry, the counts were 698, 661 and 713. ChatGPT then ordered the twelve fact sheets we recorded, with the names removed: ScoresAndOdds first in two runs of three, the Lab first in one and second in two, BettingPros third each time. The method and its limits are in the full test.

What it puts on one row is the best price across the books we track and the player’s hit rates over five windows, with each book’s price one click away on the player page. Comparing the books that way on the wider prop board produced a finding worth having before you bet football: DraftKings was the best price on 93% of the passing yards props it quoted, and on none of the home run props. The full count is in which sportsbook has the best player prop odds.

Our board is free and stays free. If you would rather judge it than read about it, the Lab board is the whole slate.

How this was tested

Opened in a browser on 12 September 2026, logged out, no account and no credit card, on the NFL week 1 board with Sunday’s fixtures upcoming. We recorded what rendered rather than what the marketing claimed, and we created no accounts, which is why free-account tiers are described rather than tested. The numbers in the section about our own entry come from a second check on the night of 1 October 2026, on the week 4 board.

Tool free tiers move faster than you would think. PropsMadness changed shape between our August check and this one: it was one player a day at $20 a month, and sixteen days later it was a featured game plus a new free Explore mode at $25 a month. So this page carries its date and gets re-tested rather than aging quietly.

The baseball version of this test is best MLB player prop tools, and the free-versus-paid split across the whole category is in free player prop tools.

No affiliate links, no referral codes, and no vendor was contacted. We build one of the tools listed.

Quick answers

What is the best free NFL prop tool?

Depends what you want. BettingPros rendered the most props logged out, 655 across 11 markets, and shows a pick on every row. ScoresAndOdds carried more markets, 16, with best odds across books but no free projections.

Which prop tools show anytime touchdown props for free?

BettingPros carried anytime touchdown logged out, but only 7 props across the whole week 1 slate, against 182 receiving yards props. ScoresAndOdds lists touchdowns plus first and last touchdown scorer in its market filter. Our own Lab carries anytime touchdown on its NFL board, with the player's red zone touches or targets and what the opposing defence allows on the player page.

Do free NFL prop tools show projections?

Rarely. ScoresAndOdds renders projection columns with a premium icon in them. BettingPros shows a Pick on each row logged out but its Bet Rating renders as zero stars on every row, so the rating itself is not really free.

Why do NFL prop tools have fewer markets than MLB ones?

Partly schedule. Football is one slate a week, so a tool has fewer rows to work with and posts them closer to kickoff. Counting a football board midweek and a baseball board on a game day is not a fair comparison, and this check was run with Sunday's games upcoming.

How many NFL prop markets should a tool cover?

The main ones are passing, rushing and receiving yards, receptions, attempts and completions, interceptions and touchdowns. Of the free tools we opened, the widest carried 16 and the busiest carried 11.

Want tonight's board?

The Lab has the full slate: every line with L5, L10, L20 and season hit rates, game logs, matchup context and the best price at your books. A short daily card of picks is posted before the games and graded in public afterwards, win or lose. The Lab is free, and it stays free.
