What are the best college football player prop tools?

Quick answer

It depends what you need. BettingPros had by far the most college props free, 47 pages of them with 35 on the first, and a pick on every card, but one price per card with no book named. Of the five tools we tested, RotoWire was the only free page comparing nine US sportsbooks side by side, for two markets. ScoresAndOdds showed the best odds per row across ten markets. Action Network gave free expert picks but a thin comparison without an account. PropsMadness listed no college football in its menu.

College football props are a thinner market than the NFL’s: fewer books post them, and not on every game. So the tools matter more, and they differ more than you would expect.

We opened five of them on the evening before a full college Saturday, logged out, no account and no card, and wrote down what actually rendered.

The most props: BettingPros

47 pages of college props, 35 on the first page. We did not count every page, so we will not put a total on it, but it was by some distance the biggest free college board we opened. Its filter lists 16 markets: receiving yards, receptions, rushing yards and attempts, rush plus receiving, passing yards, touchdowns, attempts and completions, rushing and receiving touchdowns, passing plus rushing, the two longest-play markets, and field goals and extra points made.

Every card shows a pick, Over or Under. The Bet Rating beside it showed zero of five stars on every card we saw logged out, so the confidence behind the pick is not free. Each card shows one line and one price for each side, without naming the book behind it.

The widest free book comparison we found: RotoWire

RotoWire’s free college props page is a table with nine sportsbooks across the top: Betr, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, BetRivers, Caesars, Hard Rock, theScore and Circa Sports. Each player’s line and both prices sit under each book, so you can see at a glance who hangs a different number.

The catch is scope. The free page carried two markets, passing yards and receiving yards, at about 19 players each. For those two, it is the quickest price check we found.

Best odds per row: ScoresAndOdds

ScoresAndOdds lists every player in a market with the best over and the best under it can find, which can sit on different numbers, and an Odds Compare expander on each row for the book-by-book view. Ten markets in its filter, 76 quarterbacks on the passing yards list the evening we looked. The projection and difference columns are marked premium.

One thing to know before you rely on it: opened from Ontario, its Odds Compare listed Ontario books. We only looked from Ontario, so check which sportsbooks it lists for you before you trust its best price.

Picks, not prices: Action Network

Action Network’s college props page leads with expert picks, each with the writer’s recent record beside it, and a “prop odds comparison” with tabs for touchdown scorers and alternate passing, rushing and receiving lines. Logged out, the comparison was thin: five players on the receiving list, and a best-odds column that read N/A from our location. Its prop projections are a paid product.

Not built for college

PropsMadness, which we have tested for baseball and the NFL, listed no college football in its menu. Props.Cash showed a logged-out visitor nothing when we tested it in August, and its own promo page had dropped college football from its list of leagues. The August test is in free player prop tools.

About our own entry

We build one of these. The Lab’s college board puts every book we track side by side on each player’s line, with the player’s hit rate this season and last beside it. On one late-September weekend that was 12 books, and props on 53 of the 65 Saturday games by the Friday evening.

What it does not do: the board shows no projections, and a game only appears once a book has posted props on it. Which book paid the most on that weekend, market by market, is in which sportsbook has the best college football prop odds, and which games had nothing at all is in why are there no player props for this college football game.

The Lab board carries the current college slate.

How we tested

Opened in a browser on the evening of Friday 25 September 2026, logged out, no account and no card, with the Saturday 26 September college slate upcoming. We recorded what rendered, not what the marketing claimed, and signed up for nothing.

Location matters for these tools. We opened them from Ontario, Canada. ScoresAndOdds showed Ontario sportsbooks, and Action Network’s best-odds column was empty from here; a visitor in a US state sees that state’s books. RotoWire showed US books regardless. The table compares features, markets and paywalls, not which books each tool lists.

Free tiers change often, so this page carries its date and gets re-tested rather than edited quietly.

No affiliate links, no referral codes, and no tool was contacted. We build one of the tools listed.

Quick answers

What is the best free college football player prop tool?

For volume, BettingPros: 47 pages of college props logged out, 35 on the first page, with a pick on every one. For comparing prices across sportsbooks, RotoWire's free table put nine US books side by side, though only for passing and receiving yards.

Which tools compare college football prop odds across sportsbooks?

Of the free pages we opened, RotoWire compared nine US books in one table, ScoresAndOdds showed the best odds per row with a book-by-book expander, and Action Network lists a best-odds column. Which books you see can depend on where you are.

Does PropsMadness cover college football?

Not when we checked. Its menu listed NFL, MLB, WNBA and NBA, and no college football.

Why do college football prop tools have fewer props than NFL ones?

Fewer books post college props, and not on every game. On one Saturday slate we counted, 12 of 65 games had no player props at any book we track by Friday evening.

Are the picks on free prop tools any good?

We did not test them, and a pick with no record attached is hard to judge. BettingPros shows a pick on every card logged out but locks the rating beside it.

Want tonight's board?

The Lab has the full slate: every line with L5, L10, L20 and season hit rates, game logs, matchup context and the best price at your books. A short daily card of picks is posted before the games and graded in public afterwards, win or lose. The Lab is free, and it stays free.
