Which sportsbook has the best pitcher strikeout prop odds?

Quick answer

Over eight MLB slates in late September, two exchanges had the best strikeout price most often: NoVig on 47.1% of the 514 sides it quoted and ProphetX on 22.2% of 482. Among regular sportsbooks, bet365 led at 15.9% (Ontario prices), then Bovada at 11.0% and BetMGM at 10.0%. DraftKings was best on 6.2%, FanDuel on 3.8% and Hard Rock Bet on 1.6%. Caesars posted no strikeout props in our feed.

In October the slate shrinks to a handful of games, and the starting pitchers are the names you know. So before the playoffs, we counted which book was paying the most on strikeout props.

Not on one night. One night of strikeout props is about 70 sides, too few to rank anyone. This is eight slates, 18 to 25 September 2026.

The count: 13 books, 525 strikeout sides

For every pitcher strikeout line with three or more books quoting it, we marked the book paying the most. A side is one pitcher’s over or under at one number, and a book’s price on it is one quote. A tie counts as best for every tied book.

Book Best price on Sides it quoted
NoVig 47.1% 514
ProphetX 22.2% 482
bet365 (see note) 15.9% 302
Bovada 11.0% 308
BetMGM 10.0% 359
Fanatics 9.3% 204
theScore Bet 6.6% 486
DraftKings 6.2% 370
BetOnline 6.0% 251
FanDuel 3.8% 372
Pinnacle 2.6% 349
Hard Rock Bet 1.6% 374
Fliff 1.6% 320

Caesars posted no strikeout props in our feed over the eight slates.

Note on bet365: its prices on our board are read from its Ontario app, and its prices in a US state can differ.

Two exchanges at the top, again

NoVig and ProphetX are not sportsbooks in the usual sense. They are peer-to-peer exchanges: your bet is matched against another bettor’s, and the platform takes a commission instead of setting the price itself. They also topped our home run count, where NoVig had the best price on 56% of its rows. The details, and the margins behind it, are in which sportsbook has the best home run odds.

They are not available everywhere. If you cannot use one, the useful part of the table starts at row three.

Among regular sportsbooks

Take the exchanges out and bet365 led at 15.9%, then Bovada, BetMGM and Fanatics at about one side in ten each. DraftKings at 6.2% and FanDuel at 3.8% were rarely the top price, and Hard Rock Bet, which quoted 374 sides, was the best on six of them.

Two things to take from that:

  1. DraftKings and FanDuel were not where the best strikeout prices were. DraftKings and FanDuel together had the best price on 37 of the 742 prices they posted between them.
  2. No regular book wins this market on its own. The leader among them was best on about one side in six, so the answer on any given pitcher is whichever book you check that happens to be high tonight.

Before you bet a strikeout line in October

The price is the second question. The first is the pitcher: his strikeout rate, the opposing lineup’s strikeout rate against his hand, and how deep he usually goes. How we weigh those is in which stats matter for strikeout props.

Then the price. The Lab board shows every book’s strikeout line side by side for tonight’s starters, with each pitcher’s recent strikeout record beside it, so the two questions sit on one screen.

What we counted

Our board for the MLB slates of 18 to 25 September 2026, one snapshot per day taken before noon Eastern. Eight slates, 525 strikeout sides with three or more books quoting. The count uses main lines only: a price a book posts as an alternate is not counted as its line. Hard Rock Bet’s listings are counted once. No model, no projection and no fair value is involved. It is a count of who paid the most.

A snapshot before noon misses lines posted later in the day, so late-posting books are under-counted, and every number here is a count of that morning’s board rather than of the market all day.

No affiliate links, no referral codes, and no sportsbook or exchange was contacted. Numbers come from our own board, 18 to 25 September 2026.

Quick answers

Which sportsbook has the best strikeout prop odds?

Over eight slates of our board, NoVig had the best pitcher strikeout price on 47.1% of the sides it quoted and ProphetX on 22.2%. Both are exchanges. Among regular sportsbooks, bet365 led at 15.9%, then Bovada at 11.0% and BetMGM at 10.0%.

Is DraftKings or FanDuel better for strikeout props?

Neither was often the best price. On our eight-slate count, DraftKings had the best strikeout price on 6.2% of the 370 sides it quoted and FanDuel on 3.8% of 372.

What are NoVig and ProphetX?

Peer-to-peer exchanges. Your bet is matched against another bettor and the platform takes a commission, rather than the house setting a price. They are not available everywhere, so check where you live before counting on them.

How many strikeout props did we count?

525 sides with three or more books quoting, over the MLB slates of 18 to 25 September 2026. A side is one pitcher's over or under at one number; each side counted here was priced by three or more books.

Do these numbers apply to the playoffs?

They are from the last week of the regular season, so treat them as the shape of the market going in rather than a playoff price list. Fewer games means fewer pitchers, and the count gets rerun on a new board rather than edited.
