Do anytime touchdown odds move during the week?
Most of them did. For the 10 Sunday afternoon games of NFL week 7, on our boards from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 October 2026, 3,035 of 3,807 anytime touchdown prices (79.7%) were different on the last day a book quoted the player than on the first: 1,810 got longer, 1,225 got shorter and 772 ended where they started. The median move among the prices that moved was $90 on a $100 stake.
If you like a player to score on Sunday, is the anytime touchdown price you see in midweek the one you would get on Sunday? Our board prices the whole NFL slate every morning and keeps every version, so we read one week of it.
The short version, for NFL week 7: of 3,807 anytime touchdown prices a book quoted on at least two days, 3,035 (79.7%) had moved by the last day. 1,810 got longer and 1,225 got shorter. The median move was $90 on a $100 stake.
How this was counted
We took the last board saved before 12:30 p.m. Toronto on each day from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 25 October 2026, and kept the 10 Sunday afternoon games:
| Kickoff, Toronto | Game |
|---|---|
| 1:00 p.m. | Bengals at Ravens |
| 1:00 p.m. | Browns at Titans |
| 1:00 p.m. | Colts at Vikings |
| 1:00 p.m. | Dolphins at Jets |
| 1:00 p.m. | Giants at Texans |
| 1:00 p.m. | 49ers at Falcons |
| 1:00 p.m. | Buccaneers at Panthers |
| 4:05 p.m. | Broncos at Cardinals |
| 4:25 p.m. | Packers at Lions |
| 4:25 p.m. | Rams at Raiders |
Left out: Patriots at Bears on Thursday night, Steelers at Saints at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Chiefs at Seahawks on Sunday night and Cowboys at Eagles on Monday night.
The Wednesday board had none of these games. Before 12:30 p.m. on 21 October it carried Thursday night’s game only; the Sunday games joined it on Thursday. So this count runs Thursday to Sunday, four boards, not five. A Wednesday price is not in it.
A price is one book’s anytime touchdown price for one player in one game, the yes side (there is no under on our board). Held quotes are left out, and one brand’s duplicate labels are merged. A price counts as moved when the same book quoted the same player on two or more days and the last price differs from the first. 148 prices a book showed on one day only are not in the movement count. Of the 3,807 that are, 3,363 ran from Thursday to Sunday; the rest started later or stopped earlier.
A move is measured in dollars returned on a winning $100 stake, so +300 to +350 is a $50 move. Longer means a bigger payout; shorter, a smaller one.
The prices on each board carried the time they were pulled. The API books’ NFL prices were pulled at about 6:10 a.m. on Thursday, 6:12 a.m. on Friday, 6:23 a.m. on Saturday and 12:06 p.m. on Sunday; bet365’s between 12:17 and 12:26 p.m. each day, read from its Ontario app.
What moved
| Prices | Share | |
|---|---|---|
| Got longer | 1,810 | 47.5% |
| Got shorter | 1,225 | 32.2% |
| Ended where they started | 772 | 20.3% |
| Total | 3,807 |
The median move among the 3,035 that moved was $90 on $100, for prices that got longer and for prices that got shorter alike.
Ending level is not the same as never moving. Of the 772 that ended where they started, 405 had moved on a day in between and come back. Only 367 never changed on any of our four boards. One read a day cannot see a price that moved and moved back between noons, so even 367 is an upper count of prices that never moved.
The players’ day-to-day counts were steady: 284 players on Thursday, 287 on Friday, 282 on Saturday and 283 on Sunday, with 3,619, 3,675, 3,743 and 3,661 book prices.

| Hard Rock Bet | 262 | 68.3% | 65 | 114 | 83 | $60 |
| BetOnline | 275 | 63.3% | 66 | 108 | 101 | $100 |
Every one of the 14 books had more prices get longer than shorter over the four days. Fliff changed the most prices but by a smaller median amount; BetOnline changed the fewest, and by $100 at the median when it did. Which book had the best price on a given weekend is a different count, in which sportsbook has the best anytime touchdown odds.
By role
Our board labels many players with a depth chart role. A price enters this table only when the player carried the same role on the first and last day: 1,993 of the 3,807. 1,647 had no role label on one of the two days and 167 changed role, and those stay in the totals above.
| Role | Prices | Moved | Shorter | Longer | Same | Median move |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| QB1 | 266 | 74.4% | 64 | 134 | 68 | $50 |
| RB1 | 261 | 80.8% | 67 | 144 | 50 | $8.02 |
| RB2 | 222 | 84.7% | 46 | 142 | 34 | $60 |
| RB3 | 88 | 80.7% | 30 | 41 | 17 | $100 |
| WR1 | 239 | 73.2% | 71 | 104 | 64 | $10 |
| WR2 | 211 | 88.2% | 75 | 111 | 25 | $30 |
| WR3 | 194 | 79.9% | 44 | 111 | 39 | $75 |
| TE1 | 261 | 83.9% | 154 | 65 | 42 | $26 |
| TE2 | 251 | 74.9% | 84 | 104 | 63 | $100 |
Two things stand out, and we can say what happened, not why. Lead tight ends were the one role where more prices got shorter than longer, 154 to 65. And the median move was small for lead backs and lead receivers, $8.02 and $10, against $60 to $100 for second and third backs, third receivers and second tight ends, whose prices are longer: a short price has fewer dollars to move through. The cause of each move, injury news, betting or a book’s own model, is not in our data.
What this does not say
One week is a dated count, not a rule for every week. It reports listed prices, not what anyone was filled at, and it does not say whether a Thursday or a Sunday price was the better bet. The same question for yardage and receptions lines, over week 2, is answered in do NFL player prop lines move during the week, with the same daily-read method. How anytime touchdown prices differ by position is in anytime touchdown odds by position.
Where to find these
The Lab board, with NFL chosen and the Anytime TD market, shows every book’s anytime touchdown price for each player on one row, re-read every morning, so you can see where a price sits on the day you look.
Quick answers
Do anytime touchdown odds change during the week?
Most did in NFL week 7. Of 3,807 anytime touchdown prices a book quoted on at least two of our Thursday to Sunday boards, 3,035 (79.7%) had changed between the first and the last: 1,810 got longer, 1,225 shorter.
How much do anytime TD odds move?
Among the prices that moved in week 7, the median change was $90 on a winning $100 stake, the same $90 for prices that got longer and for prices that got shorter. By book the median ran from $50 at BetMGM to $100 at BetOnline, Bovada, Courtside, DraftKings and FanDuel.
Which sportsbook moved its anytime TD odds the most?
Fliff changed the most of its prices in week 7, 253 of 276 (91.7%). BetOnline changed the fewest, 174 of 275 (63.3%). bet365 changed 194 of 280 (69.3%).
Should I bet an anytime touchdown early in the week or on Sunday?
One week of prices cannot answer that, and we do not try. What the week 7 count says: a Thursday price was usually not the Sunday price, and it was more often longer by Sunday than shorter, 1,810 to 1,225. Why each price moved is not in our data.
Does a price that ends the same mean it never moved?
No. Of the 772 week 7 prices that were the same on the first and last day, 405 had moved and come back on a day in between. Only 367 never changed on any board we read.
