What happens to the Kings' player props without Keegan Murray?
Sacramento played 60 of its 82 regular-season games without Keegan Murray in 2025-26 and 22 with him, so the with group is the small one. The Kings scored 111.45 points a game without him (median 111.5) against 109.77 (median 105.5) with him. Nique Clifford went from 19.82 minutes and 6.23 points (median 5.5) with Murray to 27.28 minutes and 9.58 points (median 9) without him, Precious Achiuwa from 21.50 minutes and 5.73 rebounds (median 5) to 25.02 and 7.18 (median 7), and Malik Monk from 10.89 points (median 11) to 13.09 (median 13). Domantas Sabonis shared no game with Murray last season, 23 of the 60 games were a closing run in which Zach LaVine and Sabonis also sat, the cause of the absences is unknown from our logs, and these are last season's numbers, not a forecast.
Keegan Murray will not play for Sacramento at New Orleans on Thursday, October 29, 2026. The ESPN injury feed lists him as out in an entry dated October 26, 2026; its comment says he “has officially been diagnosed with left ankle capsulitis, and he’s set to miss at least the next 10 days”. Maxime Raynaud (knee) and Dylan Cardwell (calf) are listed out in entries dated October 26, and Ben Simmons (Achilles) in an entry dated October 21. Sacramento has played four games this season, two with Murray and two without, so most of the comparisons below come from last season: the Kings played 82 regular-season games in 2025-26, Murray played 10 or more minutes in 22 of them, and 60 came without him. Our logs do not say why he missed those games, so the cause is unknown.
A game counts as with Murray when he played at least 10 minutes, a fifth of regulation. He never played between 10 and 19 minutes last season; his shortest game in the with group is December 23 vs Detroit at 20 minutes. The one game he left early, February 25 at Houston after 9 minutes, counts as without him, and it was his last game of 2025-26. His last game of 10 or more minutes was February 23 at Memphis (34 minutes, 6 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists). Of the 60 games without him, 31 were at home; of the 22 with him, 10.
The Kings, with Murray against without him
| Kings per game (median) | With, 22 games | Without, 60 games |
|---|---|---|
| Points | 109.77 (105.5) | 111.45 (111.5) |
| Rebounds | 41.23 (41.5) | 42.65 (43) |
| Assists | 24.59 (24.5) | 25.90 (25) |
| Three-pointers | 9.45 (10) | 10.58 (10) |
The team numbers barely move: 111.45 points a game without Murray against 109.77 with him, a gap of 1.68 at the mean and 6 at the median, and about a rebound and an assist more a game. Twenty-two games is the small sample here, and they fall in three stretches, November 20 to December 23, December 30 to January 4 and February 19 to 23, so read the gaps as what happened, not as a rule.
Murray himself averaged 14.45 points (median 15), 5.95 rebounds (median 5.5) and 1.73 assists (median 1.5) in 35.73 minutes (median 36.5) in the 22 games he played.

Every figure is per game the player played, in the group of games shown. Games with and games without count the games each player appeared in, so a player who missed games himself has a smaller count than the group: LaVine played 11 of the 22 games with Murray and no game after February 6, Plowden played 3 of the 22, so his with column is a hint at most, and Cardwell played 4. Domantas Sabonis has no with column at all: he played 19 games for Sacramento last season, from October 24 to February 4, every one of them without Murray, at 29.74 minutes (median 31), 15.84 points (median 13), 11.37 rebounds (median 12) and 4.11 assists (median 3). De’Andre Hunter played 2 games for Sacramento last season, February 4 and 6, both without Murray.
The four stretches, and who else was missing
The 60 games without Murray came in four stretches: 15 to open the season, October 22 to November 19; 2 on December 27 and 28; 20 from January 6 to February 11; and 23 to close it, February 25 to April 12.
| Stretch | Games | Kings points (median) | LaVine games, points | Sabonis games, rebounds | Clifford games, minutes | Achiuwa games, minutes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Oct 22 to Nov 19 | 15 | 112.00 (110) | 13, 21.54 | 11, 12.27 | 11, 18.45 | 8, 18.00 |
| Dec 27 and 28 | 2 | 107.00 (107) | 0 | 0 | 2, 24.50 | 2, 22.50 |
| Jan 6 to Feb 11 | 20 | 109.90 (111) | 15, 17.60 | 8, 10.12 | 20, 25.35 | 19, 21.11 |
| Feb 25 to Apr 12 | 23 | 112.83 (114) | 0 | 0 | 20, 34.35 | 22, 31.18 |
The closing run is where the biggest roles came. In those 23 games Clifford played 20 at 34.35 minutes (median 37) and 13.90 points (median 12.5), Achiuwa 22 at 31.18 minutes (median 33), 15.59 points (median 14) and 9.36 rebounds (median 9), Plowden 22 at 28.64 minutes (median 29) and 12.68 points (median 13.5), and Raynaud all 23 at 32.39 minutes (median 32) and 17.70 points (median 18). LaVine and Sabonis played none of them. So the bigger roles for Clifford, Achiuwa and Plowden came, for the most part, in games without LaVine and Sabonis too, and cannot be credited to Murray’s absence alone. In the 15 games to open the season, with LaVine in 13 of them and Sabonis in 11, Clifford averaged 18.45 minutes (median 17) and 4.27 points (median 2), and Achiuwa 18.00 minutes (median 19) and 7.00 points (median 5) in the 8 he played.
The one game he left early
On February 25 at Houston, Murray played 9 minutes, scored 3 points with 1 rebound, and did not return; Sacramento scored 97. Clifford had 15 points in 29 minutes, Achiuwa 6 points and 10 rebounds in 30, Raynaud 11 points and 8 rebounds in 29, Monk 7 points in 19, and Plowden 9 points in 24. It was Murray’s last game of the season.
Four games this season, two with him and two without
On October 21 at the LA Clippers the Kings scored 96: Murray had 2 points and 4 rebounds in 28 minutes, Zach LaVine 28 points in 34, Domantas Sabonis 14 points, 18 rebounds and 8 assists in 34, Darius Acuff 12 points in 35, and Precious Achiuwa 15 points and 5 rebounds in 29. On October 23 vs Portland the Kings scored 120: Murray 12 points and 2 rebounds in 26 minutes, Sabonis 27 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists in 39, Acuff 33 points in 37, LaVine 22 in 39, Achiuwa 14 points and 6 rebounds in 26, and De’Andre Hunter 4 points and 7 rebounds in 25. Our log has Murray at 26 minutes that night, so it does not show him leaving early; the feed’s diagnosis came three days later.
On October 25 vs Memphis, the first game without him, the Kings scored 112: LaVine 37 points in 40 minutes, Achiuwa 12 points and 10 rebounds in 39, Acuff 22 points and 7 assists in 36, Sabonis 15 points and 15 rebounds in 35, Hunter 7 points and 6 rebounds in 29, and Jonathan Mogbo 7 points in 18. On October 27 at San Antonio the Kings scored 103: Hunter 24 points with 5 threes in 33 minutes, LaVine 22 in 31, Sabonis 20 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists in 37, Acuff 19 in 33, Achiuwa 4 points in 14, and Mogbo 2 points and 5 rebounds in 18. Two games is not a sample, and Nique Clifford played 2 minutes on October 23 and 5 on October 27, with no row for October 25, so the minutes that went to him last season have gone elsewhere so far.
What this can and cannot tell you
The clearest shifts tied to Murray’s role are Nique Clifford’s, 7.46 more minutes a game and 6.23 to 9.58 points at the mean, 9 against 5.5 at the median, with his rebounds and assists up too, and Precious Achiuwa’s, 3.52 more minutes and 1.45 more rebounds at the mean, 7 against 5 at the median. Malik Monk scored 2.20 more a game, and Daeqwon Plowden played 9.21 more minutes, though on 3 games with Murray. Zach LaVine’s numbers barely moved, 19.43 points against 18.55, in the same minutes.
The roster has changed since, and last season’s with sample is thin. Sabonis never shared a game with Murray in 2025-26, so this season’s two games with him are the only look at that pairing. DeMar DeRozan, Russell Westbrook, Dennis Schroder, Devin Carter, Keon Ellis, Doug McDermott and Drew Eubanks took minutes in last season’s games and are gone; Darius Acuff, Emanuel Sharp, Jonathan Mogbo, Alex Karaban, Leaky Black and Sean Pedulla did not play for Sacramento in 2025-26; Raynaud and Cardwell, who played 52 and 40 of the 60 games without Murray, are out themselves. With the cause of last season’s absences unknown and the roster changed, none of this forecasts Thursday’s game at New Orleans, and none of it says anything about prices.
Where to find these
Each player has a page with every game beside the line: Zach LaVine’s points, Precious Achiuwa’s rebounds, Malik Monk’s points and Domantas Sabonis’s rebounds. Thursday’s lines appear on the Lab board once the game is posted. The NBA allowance tables are on defense vs position for NBA props, and the same question for another team’s starter is in Rockets props without Alperen Sengun.

Quick answers
How many games did the Kings play without Keegan Murray last season?
60 of their 82 regular-season games. A game counts as with Murray when he played at least 10 minutes, a fifth of regulation; he played 10 or more in the other 22. The 60 came in four stretches: the first 15 games of the season from October 22 to November 19, December 27 and 28, 20 games from January 6 to February 11, and the last 23 from February 25 to April 12, 2026. 31 of the 60 were at home.
What did Murray himself average?
In the 22 games he played 10 or more minutes in 2025-26, 14.45 points (median 15), 5.95 rebounds (median 5.5) and 1.73 assists (median 1.5) in 35.73 minutes a game (median 36.5). This season he has 2 points in 28 minutes at the LA Clippers and 12 points in 26 minutes vs Portland.
Who played more without him?
Nique Clifford averaged 27.28 minutes in the 53 games without Murray he played against 19.82 in 22 with him, and Daeqwon Plowden 27.21 in 29 games against 18.00 in 3. Precious Achiuwa went from 21.50 minutes to 25.02 and Malik Monk from 20.00 to 22.80. Zach LaVine and Maxime Raynaud played about the same minutes either way.
Who scored more without him?
Clifford averaged 9.58 points (median 9) without Murray against 6.23 (median 5.5) with him, Monk 13.09 (median 13) against 10.89 (median 11), Achiuwa 10.71 (median 9) against 8.64 (median 8.5) and Plowden 11.07 (median 11) against 7.67 (median 4). LaVine scored 19.43 (median 18) against 18.55 (median 16), in about the same minutes.
Does this tell me what will happen at New Orleans?
No. The 22 games with Murray are the small sample, Domantas Sabonis played none of them, 23 of the 60 games without him were a closing run that Zach LaVine and Sabonis also sat, and Maxime Raynaud and Dylan Cardwell, who played 52 and 40 of the 60, are out now. These numbers describe what happened; they do not forecast Thursday, and they say nothing about the prices.
