What happens to the Thunder's player props without Jalen Williams?
Oklahoma City played 49 of its 82 regular-season games without Jalen Williams in 2025-26 and 33 with him. The Thunder scored 116.98 points a game without him (median 116) against 122.06 (median 123) with him. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander went from 29.72 points (median 30) with Williams to 32.18 (median 31) without him, Ajay Mitchell from 11.96 points (median 11) in 24.61 minutes to 15.14 (median 14) in 26.97, Jared McCain from 5.89 (median 6) to 11.82 (median 12) after he arrived in February, and Chet Holmgren stayed level at 17.20 and 17.05 points. Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins and Luguentz Dort, who played more minutes without him, are not on this season's roster, Alex Caruso and Cason Wallace are out themselves, the last two games without him were end-of-season games the starters also sat, the cause of last season's absences is unknown from our logs, and these are last season's numbers, not a forecast.
Jalen Williams will not play for Oklahoma City at Houston on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The ESPN injury feed lists him as out in an entry dated October 28, 2026; its comment says he “underwent successful surgery Wednesday” on a fractured left fibula and that he “will be re-evaluated before the end of the regular season”. Alex Caruso (ankle) is listed out in an entry dated October 28, Cason Wallace (shoulder) in one dated October 26, and Nikola Topic and Thomas Sorber in entries dated October 27. Chet Holmgren (knee) is listed day-to-day in an entry dated October 29 and sat both of this season’s games without Williams. Oklahoma City has played five games this season, three with Williams and two without, so most of the comparisons below come from last season: the Thunder played 82 regular-season games in 2025-26, Williams played 10 or more minutes in 33 of them, and 49 came without him. Our logs do not say why he missed those games, so the cause is unknown.
A game counts as with Williams when he played at least 10 minutes, a fifth of regulation. His shortest game in the with group is January 17 at Miami, 14 minutes with 8 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists, the last game before a 10-game stretch without him; the Thunder scored 120. His first game of 2025-26 was November 28 and his last of 10 or more minutes was April 8 at the LA Clippers (32 minutes, 18 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists). Of the 49 games without him, 24 were at home; of the 33 with him, 18.
The Thunder, with Williams against without him
| Thunder per game (median) | With, 33 games | Without, 49 games |
|---|---|---|
| Points | 122.06 (123) | 116.98 (116) |
| Rebounds | 43.45 (44) | 44.57 (44) |
| Assists | 25.97 (26) | 25.63 (26) |
| Three-pointers | 13.52 (13) | 14.06 (14) |
The team scored 116.98 points a game without Williams against 122.06 with him, a gap of 5.08 at the mean and 7 at the median, with rebounds, assists and threes about level. Here the without group is the bigger one: 49 games across six stretches, two of them end-of-season games in which the starters sat too, so read the gaps as what happened, not as a rule.
Williams himself averaged 17.06 points (median 17), 4.64 rebounds (median 4) and 5.48 assists (median 6) in 28.39 minutes (median 29) in the 33 games he played.

Every figure is per game the player played, in the group of games shown. Games with and games without count the games each player appeared in, so a player who missed games himself has a smaller count than the group: Gilgeous-Alexander played 39 of the 49 games without Williams, Holmgren 39, Mitchell 29 (he sat 20 of them, most from late January to early March) and Hartenstein 33. McCain’s first game for Oklahoma City was February 4, so all 31 of his games come from the second half of the season. Jaylin Williams is a different player from Jalen. Ochai Agbaji, Josh Dix, Aday Mara, Micah Peavy, Thomas Sorber and Bennett Stirtz did not play for Oklahoma City in 2025-26, so they have no column at all.
The players not on this season’s roster
| Player | Games with, without | Minutes with | Minutes without | Points with (median) | Points without (median) | Threes with | Threes without |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Isaiah Joe | 29, 42 | 16.17 | 24.69 | 8.97 (8) | 12.50 (13) | 2.24 (2) | 2.76 (3) |
| Aaron Wiggins | 28, 37 | 18.82 | 24.05 | 7.57 (5.5) | 10.78 (10) | 1.18 (1) | 1.70 (1) |
| Luguentz Dort | 29, 40 | 24.24 | 28.70 | 8.52 (9) | 8.22 (6) | 1.97 (2) | 1.77 (1.5) |
Joe, Wiggins and Dort are not on the Thunder roster ESPN listed on October 30, 2026, and between them they took a large share of the extra minutes in last season’s games without Williams: Joe played 8.52 more minutes a game and scored 12.50 points (median 13) against 8.97 (median 8), Wiggins played 5.23 more and scored 10.78 (median 10) against 7.57 (median 5.5), and Dort played 4.46 more with his scoring about level. Whatever those minutes become this season, they do not go to anyone in the tables above by default.
The six stretches
The 49 games without Williams came in six stretches: 19 from October 21 to November 26; 10 from January 19 to February 7; 16 from February 12 to March 21; March 30; April 7; and April 10 and 12.
| Stretch | Games | Thunder points (median) | Gilgeous-Alexander games, points | Holmgren games, rebounds | Mitchell games, points | McCain games, points |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Oct 21 to Nov 26 | 19 | 122.11 (122) | 19, 32.63 | 15, 7.93 | 19, 15.95 | 0 |
| Jan 19 to Feb 7 | 10 | 114.90 (112.5) | 8, 31.75 | 9, 9.44 | 2, 11.50 | 2, 2.50 |
| Feb 12 to Mar 21 | 16 | 113.50 (116) | 10, 30.90 | 13, 10.38 | 6, 15.00 | 16, 13.06 |
| Mar 30 | 1 | 114.00 (114) | 1, 47.00 | 1, 9.00 | 1, 14.00 | 1, 7.00 |
| Apr 7 | 1 | 123.00 (123) | 1, 25.00 | 1, 10.00 | 1, 9.00 | 1, 15.00 |
| Apr 10 and 12 | 2 | 105.00 (105) | 0 | 0 | 0 | 2, 12.00 |
The first 19, from October 21 vs Houston to November 26 vs Minnesota, are the cleanest look: Gilgeous-Alexander played all 19 and averaged 32.63 points, Mitchell played all 19 and averaged 15.95, and the Thunder scored 122.11 a game. The last two are not: on April 10 at Denver and April 12 vs Phoenix, Gilgeous-Alexander, Holmgren, Mitchell, Hartenstein, Wallace, Caruso and Jaylin Williams all sat, Branden Carlson scored 23 and 26 points, and Nikola Topic had 11 and 14 assists. Those two games are inside every without column above, so the medians are the safer read for the bench.
Five games this season, three with him and two without
With Williams: on October 20 at San Antonio the Thunder scored 116 (Gilgeous-Alexander 32 points, McCain 20, Holmgren 14, Williams 12 in 30 minutes), on October 22 vs Denver 96 (Williams 21 in 33, Gilgeous-Alexander 17, Holmgren 12 points and 17 rebounds, Mitchell 12), and on October 25 vs the LA Clippers 108 (Gilgeous-Alexander 34, Mitchell 18, Hartenstein 12 points and 12 rebounds, Williams 8 in 32).
On October 26 vs Phoenix, the first game without him, the Thunder scored 125: Mitchell 30 points in 25 minutes, Gilgeous-Alexander 26 in 30, McCain 18 in 30, Hartenstein 15 points and 13 rebounds in 26, Aday Mara 11 points and 10 rebounds in 20, and Jaylin Williams 6 points and 6 rebounds in 26. On October 28 at Dallas they scored 96: Mitchell 29 in 28, Gilgeous-Alexander 21 in 28, Hartenstein 10 points and 14 rebounds in 26, McCain 10 in 29, and Bennett Stirtz 8 in 28. Holmgren did not play in either game and Wallace did not play in either. Two games are not a sample.
What this can and cannot tell you
The clearest shifts tied to Williams’ absence among the players still here are Ajay Mitchell’s, 2.36 more minutes a game and 11.96 to 15.14 points at the mean, 14 against 11 at the median; Jared McCain’s, 4.35 more minutes and 5.89 to 11.82 points, on 9 games with Williams; Kenrich Williams’, 6.74 more minutes and 2.38 to 4.37 rebounds; and Cason Wallace’s assists, 1.94 to 3.07. Gilgeous-Alexander scored 2.46 more points a game at the mean, 31 against 30 at the median. Chet Holmgren’s numbers barely moved.
The roster has changed since. Joe, Wiggins and Dort, who took more minutes without Williams, are gone; Caruso, Wallace, Topic and Sorber are out; and Agbaji, Dix, Mara, Peavy, Sorber and Stirtz did not play for Oklahoma City in 2025-26, so the two games this season are the only look at this group without him. With the cause of last season’s absences unknown, McCain’s with sample thin and the last two without games end-of-season rest, none of this forecasts Saturday’s game at Houston, and none of it says anything about prices.
Where to find these
Each player has a page with every game beside the line: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s points, Ajay Mitchell’s points, Jared McCain’s points, Chet Holmgren’s rebounds and Isaiah Hartenstein’s rebounds. Saturday’s lines appear on the Lab board once the game is posted. The NBA allowance tables are on defense vs position for NBA props, and the same question for another team’s star is in Timberwolves props without Anthony Edwards.

Quick answers
How many games did the Thunder play without Jalen Williams last season?
49 of their 82 regular-season games. A game counts as with Williams when he played at least 10 minutes, a fifth of regulation; he played 10 or more in the other 33. The 49 came in six stretches: 19 from October 21 to November 26, 10 from January 19 to February 7, 16 from February 12 to March 21, March 30, April 7, and April 10 and 12, 2026. 24 of the 49 were at home.
What did Williams himself average?
In the 33 games he played 10 or more minutes in 2025-26, 17.06 points (median 17), 4.64 rebounds (median 4) and 5.48 assists (median 6) in 28.39 minutes a game (median 29). This season he scored 12 at San Antonio, 21 vs Denver and 8 vs the LA Clippers, 41 in three games.
Who played more without him?
Kenrich Williams averaged 18.74 minutes in the 27 games without Jalen Williams he played against 12.00 in 29 with him, Jared McCain 18.68 in 22 against 14.33 in 9, Cason Wallace 28.02 in 45 against 24.59 in 32, and Ajay Mitchell 26.97 in 29 against 24.61 in 28. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren played about the same minutes either way.
Who scored more without him?
Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 32.18 points (median 31) without Williams against 29.72 (median 30) with him, Mitchell 15.14 (median 14) against 11.96 (median 11), McCain 11.82 (median 12) against 5.89 (median 6), and Wallace 9.62 (median 9) against 7.09 (median 5.5). Isaiah Joe, not on this season's roster, scored 12.50 (median 13) against 8.97 (median 8).
Does this tell me what will happen at Houston?
No. Joe, Wiggins and Dort, who took more of the minutes without him last season, are not on the roster now; Caruso and Wallace are out themselves; McCain's 9 games with Williams are a small sample; Holmgren did not play either of the two games without Williams this season; and the last two games without him last season were end-of-season games the starters also sat. These numbers describe what happened; they do not forecast Saturday, and they say nothing about the prices.
