What happens to the Trail Blazers' player props without Shaedon Sharpe?
In the 32 regular-season games Portland played without Shaedon Sharpe in 2025-26, against 50 with him, the Trail Blazers scored 114.88 points a game (median 116.5) against 115.86 (median 115.5), so the team total barely moved. Jrue Holiday averaged 17.75 points without him against 14.72 with him, and Donovan Clingan 13.74 against 11.04 with 12.10 rebounds against 11.24. Deni Avdija scored less, 21.17 against 25.95, in fewer minutes. The cause of each absence is unknown from our logs, and these are last season's numbers, not a forecast.
Shaedon Sharpe will not play for Portland at Sacramento on Friday, October 23, 2026. The ESPN injury feed lists him as out in an entry dated August 24, 2026; its comment says he “suffered a torn meniscus in his knee and is expected to miss six months.” Portland’s opener on October 21 vs Phoenix came without him too, and one game is not a sample, so every number below comes from last season: the Trail Blazers played 82 regular-season games in 2025-26, Sharpe played 10 or more minutes in 50 of them, and 32 came without him. Our logs do not say why he missed any single game, so the cause is unknown.
A game counts as with Sharpe when he played at least 10 minutes, a fifth of regulation. Three games he played short still count as with him, all at home: February 6 vs Memphis (14 minutes, 2 points), April 10 vs the LA Clippers (15 minutes, 8 points) and April 12 vs Sacramento (17 minutes, 9 points). After the February 6 game he did not play again until April 10. The 32 games without him came in two stretches: four from November 19 to November 24, and 28 from February 7 to April 8.

Every figure is per game the player played, in the group of games shown. Games with and games without count the games each player appeared in, so a player who missed games himself has a smaller count than the group. Henderson’s first game of the season in our logs was February 6, the night Sharpe played 14 minutes, so 27 of his 30 games came without Sharpe and his two columns are not a real comparison; read his row as what he did, not as a change.
What this can and cannot tell you
The clearest shifts are Holiday and Clingan. Holiday scored 17.75 a game without Sharpe (median 19) against 14.72 with him (median 14), and made 3.07 threes a game against 2.04, in about two more minutes. Clingan scored 13.74 (median 14) against 11.04 (median 9.5) in the same minutes, with more rebounds and assists. Camara’s mean rose and his median fell, so his scoring is a wash. Avdija went the other way: 21.17 points in 30.96 minutes without Sharpe against 25.95 in 34.74 with him, and he missed 8 of the 32 games himself; our logs do not say why his minutes fell.
The roster has changed since. Damian Lillard and Ja Morant did not play for Portland last season, so neither appears above, and both played in the October 21 opener. Jerami Grant, who averaged 18.25 points in 32 games with Sharpe and 19.04 in 25 without, is not on the roster ESPN listed on October 22, 2026, and neither are Kris Murray, Caleb Love or Matisse Thybulle. With the cause of each absence unknown and the backcourt different, none of this forecasts Friday’s game at Sacramento, and none of it says anything about prices.
Where to find these
Each player has a page with every game beside the line: Jrue Holiday’s points, Donovan Clingan’s rebounds and Deni Avdija’s points. Friday’s lines appear on the Lab board once the game is posted. The NBA allowance tables are on defense vs position for NBA props, and the same question for another team is in Warriors props without Jimmy Butler.
